Neutrality edit

I've reread this article and fail to detect any slant for or against Cortés. Almost all statements are factusl, though unsourced. While a phrase such as "close ally" to the Governor might be considered slanted, what Governor would appoint anything but a "close ally" to one of his Administration's top posts? The article can use sourcing, and perhaps add any negative items which may surface along the way which I'm not presently aware of. Pr4ever (talk) 21:03, 20 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Awards edit

While I agree that the list of awards is relatively long, the solution is not a wholesale removal. Clearly, the two honorary doctorates, the Toll Fellow designation and a couple of others tower over the rest of the less significant awards and recognitions.

The proper way to handle the legitimate concern for the length of the list is to make a more discriminating edit removing the less significant awards. In dping so, I once again suggest that the two honoris causa doctorates as well as the Toll fellowship stand above and beyond other recognitions. Pr4ever (talk) 00:27, 28 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

More references, class=start edit

This article is well written and detailed, but it has only one source. I added the More references template, and I have changed the templates above to class=start, awaiting more references, which should be easy to find and add. --DThomsen8 (talk) 13:06, 9 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
