  1. There is nothing at that source. Probably a prank. 68.102.165.156 (talk) 05:51, 2 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

"both the phraseology and approach to the Crackwhore model received some amount of criticism." edit

I remember Steed saying that females were all but positive about the model, it was husbands that were worried that their wives would get upset about it. Oh and it was included in the pointreleases (patches, updates) to Quake II, so ID couldn't have been too mad about it. {Phoenixdolphin (talk) 08:04, 19 September 2008 (UTC)}Reply

Edit request on 12 August 2012 edit

Please refrain from stating date of death until it is made public. Many sources are now stating that he died 9 August 2012. Cause of death has not yet been released. 173.172.110.172 (talk) 12:53, 12 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Please give linkable reliable sources for the change; most that I'm seeing quote the 11th date. Skier Dude (talk) 04:43, 20 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Partly done: Welcome and thanks for improving this article. Please indicate exactly what you want to add to the article and where in a "please change X to Y" format when you make edit requests. I tried to find a place to add the above sentence and it simply doesn't fit the flow. The birthdate could be added parenthetically along with the date of his death just after his name, so I did that. Please open a new request if you still want to add his birthplace. You should also try to find stronger references. Regards, Celestra (talk) 17:09, 8 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Cause of death still not released as of 11/6/13. However, Game Developers Magazine cites date of death as August 11, 2012 on page 42 of article "R.I.P. Paul Steed Portrait of a Pioneer" in the October 2012 publication.[1]

The Paul H. Steed Memorial Fund was established via Wells Fargo, in Lawrenceville, NJ with Account Number: 6378309709 Routing Number: 021200025. Contact for bank transfer details listed as Meggan Scavio, GM, GDC Events at UBM TechWeb.[2] Tryjen (talk) 20:34, 6 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Note: That date is already used in the article. The details about the memorial fund do not belong in the article, IMO, but I'll look into it further. Regards, Celestra (talk) 17:09, 8 November 2013 (UTC)Reply
