Defender not Midfielder

edit

Paddy Crerand was a centre-back and not a midfielder. I've updated the article accordingly Billsmith60 (talk) 08:26, 1 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

His profile on Hugmans describes Crerand as a right half, which doesn't fit neatly into either modern description. Jmorrison230582 (talk) 10:14, 1 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

"The famous 1970 ITV World Cup panel - Bob McNab, Paddy Crerand, Derek 'The Doog' Dougan and Malcolm 'Big Mal' Allison, with Brian Moore and Jimmy Hill posing the questions - the panel were a smash hit with the viewers."
