Consensus before making changes

edit

One user, VincenzoCiochetti, has begun extensively rewriting the article, as he has done with other articles. Some the changes, such as more precision about the mobilization in 1914, are quite useful, However, many of the changes are simply changes of style, and some are not acceptable. For example, redoing the date formats (changing August 1, 1914 to 1 August 1914) is not necessary; either date format is acceptable, as long as they're consistent throughout the article. The article was begun with the Auugust 1 format, and should stay that way.

Before you make further major changes, please explain the reasons first for what you're doing on the talk page. Editing needs to be done by consensus. Thanks for your consideration. SiefkinDR (talk) 05:55, 9 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
