  • If the image is non-free then you may need to upload it to Wikipedia (Commons does not allow fair use)
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale then it cannot be uploaded or used.

Frequently commons actions - like this one - don't even take into consideration that there is a clear rational for use on the en.wikipedia (or other language wikipedias) so they just delete in contravention of the artists intent when granting the license.

If someone wants to restore this including the fair use rational, etc - the original was taken from commons and uploaded to flicker by someone here - without proper attribution of the source of course - it needs to be straightened and cropped again. --Trödel 15:15, 14 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
