The lead section describes two awards, but the title of the article indicates only one award, and the Winners table indicates only one award (but does not say which one).

Does the article need two tables, one for each award? Should the newcomer award have its own article? – Jonesey95 (talk) 04:14, 7 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

The Newcomer of the Year Award previously mentioned is an unrelated award and was removed. There was a Rookie of the Year which allowed non-freshman (e.g. transfers), but that was changed later to the current Freshman of the Year. Lead updated to explain history.
