Two points
edit(1) I've heard announcements refer to POTUS '08 as "Politics of the United States", rather than President, though obviously the President acronym is in more widespread use.
(2) I've also heard them mention covering the 2008 campaign "right through to the inauguration". Is there some source that mentions the channel closing down in Novermber?
- The channel is named for the acronym of "President of the United States". For the second point, the press release states that the channel will air though the November elections. Anything after that is not guaranteed. TravKoolBreeze (talk) 16:54, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
Rename
editAs of November 12, 2008, POTUS '08 merged with Sirius Indie Talk to become "POTUS - Politics of the United States" (officially ending that debate, I guess!)
I have moved this article to P.O.T.U.S. (Sirius XM). TravKoolBreeze previously moved it from P.O.T.U.S `08 to P.O.T.U.S. However, while the former is reasonable because P.O.T.U.S `08 probably refers to the station, P.O.T.U.S should redirect to President of the United States, considering both P.O.T.U.S. (with trailing period) and POTUS go there. Hm. As I type this, it looks like someone has made P.O.T.U.S. (disambiguation) and made the acronyms go there, which is fine by me as well. ToastyKen (talk) 00:25, 28 November 2008 (UTC)

Liberal station
editPromotes itself as neither left or right, but it is a totally leftist liberal station. Gonna remove it from my favs. Gave it a few months of trial, but enough is enough. Neildburt (talk) 12:08, 7 March 2019 (UTC)
