This is a very thorough article, lots of excellent detail. I made a number of small edits, but I think it would be best to split off a List of members of the Oregon Territorial Legislature. This would let the prose of this article flow more evenly, and allow for a more consistent method of wikilinking. Thoughts? -Pete (talk) 16:52, 10 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Counties of later Washington edit

In discussions of counties formed, the early years are missing counties that later joined Washington Territory. For example, Thurston County was formed on January 12, 1852; and Pierce, King, Island and Jefferson Counties were split from Thurston in December 1852.
