Ribbons? edit

According to the Italian Wikipedia article about Ernesto Burzagli, the Admiral was twice decorated with the Order of the Star of Romania, first as a Commodore (Comandor) and then as a Grand Officer (Mare Ofiţer) of the Order.

I have no way of knowing which rank is designated by the ribbon which currently graces this article, but I'm guessing it is unlikely to designate either Comandor or Mare Ofiţer ...?

I wonder if someone could help by locating an posting these ribbons; and I would be glad to post the correct ribbons for display along with other decorations Burzagli received in a long military career?

Unlike other ribbons in Burzagli's "fruit salad," there is not yet a specific in-line citation which supports the presumption that these Romanian royal honors were actually bestowed. I wonder if someone could help remedy this minor omission? --Tenmei (talk) 18:49, 18 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Josip Broz Tito edit

According to several sources, Yugoslav President Josip Broz Tito (who was honored with around six Romanian decorations) received the "Order of the Star of Socialist Republic of Romania 1st Class" on 18 April 1966 in Bucharest. The article states the Order of the Star of Romania did not exist at the time. Could someone clarify? --DIREKTOR (TALK) 21:21, 23 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
