Why does this list have Lord High Steward and Lord High Treasurer but not First Minister of Northern Ireland or Speaker of the Northern Ireland Assembly? --Henrygb 01:47, 19 December 2005 (UTC)

What is the meaning of this list?

The order of precedence in Northern Ireland is an esoteric sequential hierarchy of nominal importance of people under British law:

Could someone add to the intro the meaning of this list? What rights and privileges are associated with it? Is it primarily used for seating charts? Etc. Tempshill 18:19, 20 January 2006 (UTC)

List of younger sons of marquesses proposed for deletion

List of younger sons of marquesses in the peerages of the British Isles, which was split off from this page in December 2006, has been proposed for deletion with the following message:

Wikipedia is not appropriate for directories of individuals who do not meet the notability criteria. This unsourced list was originally split off from Order of precedence in England and Wales. It is not wanted or needed there (or really anywhere else) as most people on the list are not notable.

It is my impression (and opinion) that it is wanted and needed here (and on Order of precedence in Scotland and Order of precedence in England and Wales as well). The First Minister has no place of his own. Rather, the Keeper of the Seal does, and the First Minister is the Keeper. Neat. DBD 23:31, 25 May 2010 (UTC)

Archbishops

The page currently lists the CofI and RC Archbishops of Armagh and Dublin. However, the Roman Catholic Church also has an Archbishop of Cashel and an Archbishop of Tuam. Eg the 1959 edition of Burke's [1] page 2807 just refers to 'The Primate of Ireland and other Archbishops'. Should the incimbents of Cashel and Tuam appear here? Their provinces do not extend into NI, but neither does that of Dublin.Alekksandr (talk) 19:25, 5 January 2019 (UTC)
