The result of the move request was: Moved to Omar Soliman Mike Cline (talk) 15:46, 29 November 2012 (UTC)
Omar Soliman CEO → Omar Soliman – Tried to move my first page but was unable to. This article is named Omar Soliman CEO but there is no other article named Omar Soliman. There is currently a redirect from Omar Soliman to Omar Suleiman. I would request that this page be moved to the Omar Soliman redirect if that makes any sense??. - Support - no need for disambiguation. May or may not require a hatnote to Omar Suleiman Egyptian general, there seem to be very few English sources like Wael Ghonim Revolution 2.0: The Power of the People Is Greater Than the People Page 267 2012 "a friend sent me the video of ABC's Christiane Amanpour interview with General Omar Soliman, the vice president." ...though French sources do spell the general and the entrepeneur the same way. - Support as unnecessary and incorrectly formatted DAB, provided a hatnote is added linking to Omar Suleiman, where the current Omar Soliman page redirects. – NULL ‹talk›
‹edits› 01:16, 22 November 2012 (UTC) - Support move per Wikipedia standards for article naming. A hatnote for the other fellow would be helpful since the redirect has been in place since 2008. •••Life of Riley (T–C) 02:07, 22 November 2012 (UTC)
- Cautious support. We need to bear in mind the problems of varying transcriptions from Arabic script into English - the name looks quite unique but there will be other people out there whose names could be transcribed like this (ie. the Egyptian general) so a hatnote would be appropriate, as a minimum. bobrayner (talk) 09:48, 22 November 2012 (UTC)
