Blue Wyandot County signs

Wyandot County's blue sign for State Route 67

@Bitmapped: Regarding this reversion, I can definitely see how, out of context, it looks like it's only being used as a shield. However, it is consistent with the signs the county posts for its county and township highways (blue for state, green for county, white for township). [1][2][3] As in several other Ohio counties, the county and township routes are marked by route shields that double as street name signs. But unlike those other counties, Wyandot County doesn't seem to refer to them as "shields" per se, as far as I can tell from a quick search. So I've modified the caption to just refer to it as signage. There's plenty of precedent for road articles being illustrated with street name signs. I'm not sure it's worth adding the image to the article. I had to really hunt for these signs in StreetView. It seems they're not used consistently and almost impossible to find south of Upper Sandusky. The blue/green/white signs are interesting, but I just don't think here is a good place. –Fredddie™ 17:21, 6 January 2021 (UTC)
