Fair use rationale for Image:Off our backs.gif edit

Image:Off our backs.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Possible Alternative Image edit

Please take a look here: "Places in Our History: 1724 20th St NW." Rainbow History Project (Documents the founding and first location of Lambda Rising Bookstore) The document has a great image from the 1970's when Off Our Backs was newly founded. Perhaps something might be worked out? --leahtwosaints (talk) 06:33, 31 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Article title edit

I'm trying to make the article title appear as off our backs using the DISPLAYTITLE:off our backs template and it keeps giving me "Warning: Display title "Off our backs" overrides earlier display title "off our backs". Can't find any other DISPLAYTITLE templates in the page I'm not sure what's going on lol. Woodsy lesfem (talk) 13:55, 14 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

Confused edit

I've just strayed into this article (knowing nothing about the periodical) and I'm thoroughly confused. The article calls oob a "radical feminist periodical "; and yet the categories, navbox and wikiproject above all seem to associate it with lesbian/LGBT issues. So which is it? I know there's often a lot of overlap, but there's also a pretty clear distinction. If the journal had an overtly lesbian agenda, why doesn't the article say so?
