Text and/or other creative content from Queen of the South F.C. was copied or moved into Norrie Haywood with this edit. The former page's history now serves to provide attribution for that content in the latter page, and it must not be deleted as long as the latter page exists. |

editThe material used on the Queen of the South section of Haywood's career was originally drafted by myself with the information sourced from www.qosfc.com/legends and used on the wikipedia Queen of the South page. The info has now moved to the since created page in wikipedia titled History of Queen of the South F.C.
I don't know why exactly but since I first published this info on wikipedia it seems to have been copied verbatim to numerous other websites. This does not change the fact that the original use of this wording was on wikipedia from a legitimate source. I have used the same wording on the Norrie Haywood page.

- Hi Socheid. Wikipedia has to be really careful about copyright issues, so just to be on the safe side, I've blanked that section as a potential infringement of the site. It will be listed at WP:CP for further evaluation. Thank you :) Acather96 (talk) 18:51, 18 January 2011 (UTC)
- Hi, Socheid. When you copy content from on Wikipedia page to another, please be sure to attribute that copy unless you can verify that you are the sole author of the content. There is no doubt that you are the author of the bulk of this. I have confirmed that the material evolved here naturally, but unfortunately we have no way of verifying if you are this ip whose addition is incorporated here. Since we can't verify that, a link back to the original article is sufficient. I'll supply it. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 14:13, 20 January 2011 (UTC)
Hi all,
I'm not entirely sure what I am being asked for here. I'm sue if this helps or not but try this:-
- Action a web search on Norrie Haywood and see what the search finds. It comes back with numerous web addresses but if you look at most, it is a pure copy of the info that I originally added to wikipedia. This happens a lot and without & knowing the correct terminology for it, there seems to be lots of sites out there that contain info that has been directly imported from wikipedia. This is most noticeable on subjects on which there is limited info available on the net since it doesn't have loads of other web address to get lost in if there is a web search on the said subject.
