Nigerian prince (disambiguation)Nigerian prince – This is a followup to the discussion at Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2017 March 6#Nigerian prince, and the appeal at Wikipedia:Deletion review/Log/2017 March 13. I don't see that there is a clear consensus primary topic for Nigerian prince. While the word "prince" only appears in the hatnote on Nigerian traditional rulers, if you dig a little deeper into the detailed articles that Nigerian traditional rulers links to, you'll find that Emir means "commander", "general", or "prince" and Oloye is also "often used by princes and princesses in colloquial situations". So, it seems that "prince" is a legitimate English/Western translation of native terms such as emir and oloye. wbm1058 (talk) 19:08, 25 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

  • Support as the Advance fee scam doesn't meet the criteria for a primary topic. The numbers are low: only half of the results I see on google books have to do with the scam, and the long-term significance is questionable to say the least. – Uanfala (talk) 20:09, 25 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
