Political explanation

edit

This is user:Political Dweeb here and I need to explin something about this Wikipedia page on this political party's description. I could only guess what some of the translated text on the New Socialist Party's website meant since the translation into English wasn't so easy. Because of that this is as much information on this political party I've found and put up on this Wikipedia page about this political party. That also means I wasn't able to find out what the name of the leader or chairman of the political party is.Political Dweeb (talk) 16:06, 2 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

That's cool, but are there any sources other than the group's own web page to verify that this political group is reasonably notable, and not just six guys in a basement? This article doesn't make its significance clear, which is why I tagged it- the tag I used gives a week for improvements before anything happens to it. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 16:09, 2 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your reply FisherQueen on this page. I will try my best to work on this Wikipedia page on the New Socialist Party and I will ask you about anything in case I'm unable to do something.Political Dweeb (talk) 16:20, 2 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

I understand on this page you're telling me to note sources I've found that I must note as references. However If I'm to note my sources which I'll put under my references at the bottom there's one thing I need to know.

How do I construct my references? Meaning with Wikipedia page's there's numbers in brackets at the end of sentences refering to the source that contribute's to the page on the topic. I need to understand how to do this if I'm to refer all my sources.Political Dweeb (talk) 18:45, 2 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Explanation

edit

User:Political Dweeb here calling in to explain something to FisherQueen. I've learned how to do references or footnote by looking at how they're done on other pages and experimenting to see how I can do them.

I apologise and say that I've been looking for other websites to give for detail on the profile of this political party but have not found much at all that's the problem. So I'm using what I've got here at the moment.Political Dweeb (talk) 14:48, 3 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Reference usage

edit

There are two other things I need to explain to you firstly that when upeople try to use the 1st reference link they just need to copy and paste the whole website address minus the brackets. When they paste the address onto the URL search and click it search there will be HTTP 404. So they just need to take out from this werbsite's URL address % and 20 and click it again and the referenced website will be displayed.

That is to done to also the second reference which is this party's translated website and when they get onto its front webpage. They just need to click on the words under the header called "The new Socialist" that'll lead they to the their translated version of what the New Socialist Party stands for.Political Dweeb (talk) 14:48, 3 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Before I worked on copyediting it, it seemed like the page written as someone's opinion. It also has no reliable, secondary sources, so there is nothing verifying the information or pointing to notability. LogicalFinance33 (talk) 02:35, 7 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
