Baseless accusations?

Not just one posting. That's a whole thread. And a quick search returns lots more, including https://tacit.livejournal.com/608386.html which was also mentioned on that thread. Or https://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=700628. Or https://www.mywot.com/en/forum/20122-redirection-spams-sponsored-by-namecheap. So, this doesn't seem to be baseless at all. From the links, Namecheap acknowledges that they operate an open redirect service, which, not surprisingly, is used and abused by spammers. By not shutting this service down they open themselves up to spam accusations. jfeise (talk) 06:29, 24 April 2015 (UTC)

Just thought I'd put in my 2cents. This is silly, non-encyclopedic information. Regardless of the truth of the claim, imho it clearly does not qualify as notable under Wikipedia's notability guidelines. Move to Namecheap?

I haven't seen 'c' capitalized in Namecheap anywhere but this article. I suggest moving it, but I'm leaving comment here in case there's a good reason -- I see Namecheap currently redirects to NameCheap, so someone must have thought about this. Mike Linksvayer (talk) 00:19, 30 December 2011 (UTC)

Add specific industries?

Add specific industry categories like Godaddy has?

Namecheap should also have Domain Registrar, Web hosting, SSL certificates, VPS Hosting listed as industries. Godaddy has the specific ones listed https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Godaddy

Using Namecheap's new logo

I have contacted Namecheap for permission to add their new logo to the wiki article. They have escalated a ticket to their management, I will update this when I hear back from Namecheap regarding using their new logo for the wiki article. Spacegeek31 (talk) 13:55, 22 May 2014 (UTC)

Wiki information states that NameCheap is located in Los Angeles. Customer support operations are located in Ukraine, not Los Angeles. Given recent events in Ukraine, any operations located in Ukraine would represent a certain degree of country-risk, which may be meaningful to users of their service and, therefore, should be a matter of disclosure if Wiki is going to show Los Angeles as its location. I suggest removal - Spamcop is not showing this anymore nor is there any additional complaints except for this 1 person.
