An extremely poor article on a great topic. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dorinciorescu (talkcontribs) 00:46, 27 November 2009

DISTINGUISH BETWEEN "NAMES" & "EPITHETS" (ADJECTIVES FOR ATTRIBUTES)

edit

I think it is imperative that an effort be made in this article to differentiate between Names of God and Epithets to refer to God, which merely describe his attributes and are not "Names" of God per se. In this regard, "Pantocrator" is only an Epithet, and NOT a Name. I really feel this would tremendously improve the article. I leave it up to veterans of Wikipedia, and those who are mainly involved with this article to decide.

Yes, but that is just the tip of the iceberg of problems. I may get to clean this up at some point, but it has huge problems. History2007 (talk) 21:03, 14 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
The tags are still there, but I have cleaned about 50% of the page now, will finish in a day or two, then remove the tags. History2007 (talk) 19:53, 26 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
Anyway, I have almost finished fixing all the problems, adding sources, etc. So I removed the tags. History2007 (talk) 20:25, 2 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
