Talk:Naha Airport

Latest comment: 6 years ago by InternetArchiveBot in topic External links modified (February 2018)

First paragraph edit

The Japanese government categorizes it as a Class 2 airport.

What is this supposed to mean?

Its airport code is OKA.

Isn't this already mentioned?

The other Naha edit

There's another Naha Airport (NAH) on Sangir Island, North Sulawesi, Indonesia. How do we disambiguate these? It's fair to say that the one in Okinawa is far larger though... Jpatokal 07:25, 25 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Maybe WikiProject Aviation has decided on a way to handle situations like this? Their link is in the Project box at the top of this Talk page. Fg2 07:56, 25 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
I finally went around and created it at Naha Airport (Indonesia). Jpatokal (talk) 13:11, 16 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Destination: Naha or Okinawa? edit

For Naha Airport, some airport articles show a destination of "Naha", some show "Okinawa". Checking within the Aviation Project: Wikipedia:WikiProject Aviation/Airline destination lists: Asia#Japan shows that preferred destination name is "Okinawa", not "Naha".--Chaswmsday (talk) 17:59, 19 July 2012 (UTC)Reply
