copyvio removed

edit

I've removed a massive copyvio from [1]. I know a lot of information was lost with these edits, but text was copy-pasted from the PDF. I've tried to incorporate as much material as had been added in the meantime. // Chris (complaints)(contribs) 19:17, 20 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Power

edit

Having neither time nor dedication to sort it out to the bottom, I have some doubts about the the published engine power
Powerplant: 2× Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A turboprop, 2150 shp (1634 kW) each
Even if this plane is fast, it can never need so much power, compared to the Piaggio Avanti or the Beechcraft 1900. Without wanting to discuss the plane as such, I should welcome some research into the exact type of engines used (there are many many models of the PT6A ). I'd suspect that, perhaps, the 2150shp number is the combined output of both engines? - The Bushranger Return fireFlank speed 17:51, 23 November 2010 (UTC)Reply
According to [2], the current versions of the Saras have two 1200 shp PT6A-67s.Nigel Ish (talk) 18:49, 23 November 2010 (UTC)Reply
