Page Recreated- November 2010
editPage created/moved from college or university school of music see talk: college or university school of music Important points of changes to note:
Page name created and moved - see previous discussion (or rather lack of comments) Now includes all music schools. Not just higher education
Early history of music schools I deleted the unreferenced "Chinese Royal Academy" as the only institution I could find of that name taught Mathematics [[1]] However, this does have the impact of leaving this section as being woefully judeo-christian orientated. Additional non "western" referenced points are required to provide balance.
Individual schools were stripped out Given the plethora of schools which could be added, it may be better not to mention any school, except as a referenced footnote and, when giving an example? --Hywel Ashkenazy (talk) 22:15, 15 November 2010 (UTC)

"Reneissance" - really?
edit"Reneissance" is usually spelled "Renaissance". Is there a historical justification for this unusual spelling, or is it simply wrong? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.33.76.247 (talk) 09:12, 17 October 2019 (UTC)
