Seemingly Contradictory Dates

The article claims that "(Mrs. Wagner's Pies) went out of business in July, 1968," yet, "(the pies) were made until July 11, 1969." Did someone get their dates backwards or is one or the other a typographical error or were the pies genuinely produced even after they went bankrupt? In any case, I think a citation/reference is needed for clarification (my web search on such could not collaborate that the pies were continued after the company went bankrupt).
