References edit

There were a number of references/citations in the original "Stunters" article. Various wankers deleted them along the way to make the article "more encyclopedic"--because deleting large sections and slapping a "Needs work" template on a page is a hell of a lot easier than actually doing something to improve it.

If you aren't willing to take the time to improve an article, you're just being a pretentious asshole by flagging it as "needing improvement." --Pi3832 (talk) 21:51, 13 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

So fix it. The history of Stunters is right there for you to find what was removed and put it back. --Dbratland (talk) 22:01, 13 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Blacklisted Links Found on the Main Page edit

Cyberbot II has detected that page contains external links that have either been globally or locally blacklisted. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed, or are highly innappropriate for Wikipedia. This, however, doesn't necessarily mean it's spam, or not a good link. If the link is a good link, you may wish to request whitelisting by going to the request page for whitelisting. If you feel the link being caught by the blacklist is a false positive, or no longer needed on the blacklist, you may request the regex be removed or altered at the blacklist request page. If the link is blacklisted globally and you feel the above applies you may request to whitelist it using the before mentioned request page, or request it's removal, or alteration, at the request page on meta. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.

Below is a list of links that were found on the main page:

Resolved This issue has been resolved, and I have therefore removed the tag, if not already done. No further action is necessary.—cyberbot IITalk to my owner:Online 00:10, 4 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Blacklisted Links Found on Motorcycle stunt riding edit

Cyberbot II has detected links on Motorcycle stunt riding which have been added to the blacklist, either globally or locally. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed or are highly inappropriate for Wikipedia. The addition will be logged at one of these locations: local or global If you believe the specific link should be exempt from the blacklist, you may request that it is white-listed. Alternatively, you may request that the link is removed from or altered on the blacklist locally or globally. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. Please do not remove the tag until the issue is resolved. You may set the invisible parameter to "true" whilst requests to white-list are being processed. Should you require any help with this process, please ask at the help desk.

Wall of Death? edit

Should Wall of Death be referenced/linked here? After all it's an entire show phenomenon based around motorcycle stunt riding. - Toothswung (talk) 07:15, 25 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I live in southern California USA; any acrobatic motorcycle stunt touring alternatives to Nitro Circus out there? Thx in advance. -Peter aka Vid2vid (talk) 22:36, 7 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

Alternatives in what sense? Because of something you wish to add to this article? Or for some other purpose? --Dennis Bratland (talk) 23:08, 7 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
Merely wondering what variety of (USA) similar touring companies there are out there because: 1. I've never been to such a show, 2. I just missed one today Sun July 7 2019 up in San Bernardino CA USA (due to earthquake activity) called "Evel2," and, 3. I feel like I'm forgetting a Nitro Circus major "competitor!" Thanks for your note @Dennis Bratland:. -Peter aka Vid2vid (talk) 23:21, 7 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
OK. I'm closing the thread per WP:NOTFORUM. --Dennis Bratland (talk) 00:05, 8 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

Article Primarily About Street Motorcycles, Section Add About Stadium Acrobatics? edit

This wiki page on a 2nd look is entirely about tricks common folks or stunt people do on motorcycles on the street/ground.. eg. On speedbikes or sportbikes or standard/naked/touring two wheelers.. Should this wiki article be expanded to include content, or even a section of its own, on high flying acrobatic motorcycle/retro/trail/dual-sport soft-tail bike stunts? The Nitro Circus acts come to mind, but a general wiki on such tricks and stylized maneuvers does not exist I believe. -Peter aka Vid2vid (talk) 01:45, 8 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
