- Comment personally I cannot see why the village and mandal had to be split in the first place. We don't do this for most village/mandals. Not sure why it was needed to do here? In ictu oculi (talk) 10:07, 27 March 2017 (UTC)
- I am really not sure @Vin09: what you are doing to village/mandal articles is beneficial see Talk:Shankarpalli. It seems perfectly reasonably to have the village and mandal information in the same article, rather than deleting the sub-villages with or without then creating a second article. There should be some discussion of deletions this significant. In ictu oculi (talk) 07:07, 29 March 2017 (UTC)
- Please have that page discussion on that talk page. I've already withdrawn request there because, those pages were jumbled with other page talk pages. A mandal governance include MRO, tahsildar, has many villages and political segments for assembly. But for village, it has sarpanch for gram panchayat, a smallest unit of a settlement and even have hamlets as well.--Vin09 (talk) 10:03, 30 March 2017 (UTC)

FYI: check telugu wikipedia Adilabad mandal, Medak mandal which has several such pages. In english wiki also other state where a mandal is known as tahsil has pages like Washi Tahsil, Amritsar Tahsil.--Vin09 (talk) 10:20, 30 March 2017 (UTC)
