Deletion edit

Why did someone delete the full results of the contest (finalists and semi-finalists)? Towerbeauties (talk) 08:16, 11 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Judges section restored edit

I have restored the Judges section in the article. This was previously removed under the rationales "none notable" and "unsourced FanCruft". The list contains blue-linked subjects with Wikipedia articles, so notability is existent. I have added a source to the section to demonstrate how this can be sourced. Wikipedia is based upon what reliable sources report, and as such, information that is verifiable has more weight compared to subjective assessments such as those provided by the content remover. The content is able to be sourced quite easily.

For further information, see WP:RELIABLE, where it states, "Wikipedia articles should be based on reliable, published sources, making sure that all majority and significant minority views that have appeared in those sources are covered."North America1000 08:39, 11 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

It also says 'Articles should be based on reliable, third-party, published sources with a reputation for fact-checking and accuracy. ' which will prove quite difficult to meet I'm sure. See WP:BURDEN Legacypac (talk) 08:46, 11 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
Please allow me to actually continue verifying the content as I have begun, without continuously reverting my work. North America1000 08:50, 11 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
Notification that this would be removed was posted last month on the sister article, but go ahead. You know the RS rules so good luck. Legacypac (talk) 08:53, 11 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
Since the section was removed again, with the erroneous edit summary "provided cite does not support the content...(et al)" and in the spirit of not edit warring, below is the Judges section content, which can be further sourced here, with entries added back to the article page when adequately sourced. You called my edit summary erroneous which is actually a falsification by you and that comment should be removed immediately with an apology. The subject of the 1st and only cited article - Hanna - is not on the list in the WP article. Other listed judges in the article are not in the cite. There are some of the same people on both the article and the cite though, but we need a complete sourced list. Legacypac (talk) 04:48, 12 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
Sorry if you are offended; not the intention. The provided source did provide verification for Julia Morley, but your edit summary suggested otherwise. I was going to expand the referencing, but you again reverted. Please allow people time to improve articles, rather than quickly reverting their work. That the chairwoman of the org is a judge is not surprising. Hanna is not on the judges list, but the source was mainly about Hanna being a judge, as well as naming some but not other judges on the list. It's confusing. If the judges are notable as a group, surely they are discussed as a group in some RS. Legacypac (talk) 23:13, 15 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
