Ее учредителем является «Западная инвестиционная компания», учрежденная Бувайсаром Халидовым, Амирбеком Гагаевым и Баганой Хамит. Помимо «Когалымавиа», господа Халидов и Гагаев являются собственниками таких компаний как ООО «ТЛК», занимающейся торговлей овощами и автотранспортом. Metrojet is an Amsterdam based airline of TUI
