Although this is presented as fact, the notion of a bridge here at Yaxchilan is still highly speculative. The article should present it as a theory. Moreover, only one pier has been discovered. It is quite possible that there was no bridge at all, but rather a customs station, or some defensive structure to control traffic on the river. Neatguy (talk) 17:35, 24 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
