Something is wrong: (September 6, 1903 - March 6, 1976), so he can't have died at age 71! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.127.1.141 (talk) 17:46, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
Birthplace
editAccording to IMDB and several other pages he was born in Leonard's Bridge, Connecticut. -- Al™ 02:18, 23 May 2006 (UTC)
Full Name
editI'm not sure how to do this, but Maxie Rosenbloom's name is Max Everitt Rosenbloom and that should probably be the title of this article (or at least a search for that name should bring up this article). This is also useful reference material with respect to him: http://www.cyberboxingzone.com/boxing/slapsie.htm
Wasn't sure how to address in the article, but I put in redirect pages and mention of the name in the article, and put in the url. Tx. --Epeefleche 20:07, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
On my computer a box comes up on the right w/ the heading "Maxie RosenBloom" followed by a cloumn called "Statistics"; the first intry in that column reads "Real Name: Charley Belanger" and goes on to give birth andd death information differing from that contained in the article in cief, w no reference explaining the discrepancies.
references needed - here's an example
editThe record in the box does not match what is at the "Cyber Boxing Zone bio and record" site —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.127.1.141 (talk) 17:43, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
This article should be deleted if not overhauled.

The TImid Toreador
editThis article should include a reference to the old Porky Pig cartoon, "The Timid Toreador," which features a bovine character named Slapsie Maxie Rosenbull. 24.57.229.254 (talk) 02:16, 1 January 2012 (UTC)
An Affair to Remember
editWas Rosenbloom the actor who thanks Kerr (and subsequently mock punches a priest) in the classroom scene in this Cary Grant movie from 1957? He is not credited but it looks like him.--Jrm2007 (talk) 17:46, 18 May 2015 (UTC)
