Alphabetize under d or P? edit

When putting this author in a list of other authors, alphabetized by last name, should he be listed with the ds or the Ps? I guess I know just enough Spanish to be dangerous. I know that "de la" is part of his surname, but I also know that they are prepositions, and they are not capitalized, so I'm wondering if they are sort of like the articles in book titles.
