Yes. Though the media at the time (it was the 40's and 50's) didn't use that term or even life partner. And they weren't allowed to be married. Silver seren^C 02:15, 30 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

Actually, I should add, I can't say she was a lesbian directly. She never used that term, as far as i'm aware. She could be bisexual or she could be pansexual or any other number of options. That's why I avoided using any term like that. Silver seren^C 02:16, 30 September 2016 (UTC)Reply
