What is Marcoule?

Is it a reactor? It's categorised as one, but the article says there are no reactors on site.--A bit iffy (talk) 13:25, 12 September 2011 (UTC)

It is a "decommissioned" site, meaning Marcoule at one time housed reactors, but they have since be removed, but the site is still used for MOX fuel production and radioactive waste management.

My issue is the article mentioned that it was not a "nuclear explosion" because a reactor wasn't present...but it wouldn't be a nuclear explosion, it would be a reactor meltdown. Nuclear explosions only occur if you detonate a nuclear weapon. -Weps

Renaming

Article's been renamed "Marcoule Nuclear Power Plant" from simply "Marcoule". Is this suitable? The plant doesn't generate power, so the word "power" seems wrong, Would "Marcoule nuclear site" or "Marcoule nuclear plant" be better?--A bit iffy (talk) 14:40, 12 September 2011 (UTC)

Not a Nuclear Power Plant
