B class review edit

B class. The first bullet point under Variants is not cited. Please fix. It really is not necessary to repeat Malyuk assault rifle under Variants since (I assume) it is the standard version. Djmaschek (talk) 03:53, 28 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Reference 9, which is cited for the variants, now returns a not found error. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 136.56.112.10 (talk) 19:10, 5 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Semi-protected edit request on 18 October 2023 edit

Hi. Can you please add the following to the "design" section. I would suggest in the 3rd paragraph:

"Like AK series rifles, the Malyuk uses the roll-back and lock style of magazine insertion. However, the Malyuk magazine is inserted tilted backward and rolled forward, unlike a typical AK rifle, which does the reverse. This is to ensure easier loading of magazines that would be obstructed by the pistol grip if loaded like a typical AK rifle."

This is a relevant addition as this magazine loading, to the best of my knowledge, has never been done before. Previous bullpup conversions didn't use this reversed reload style and the issue of having less space to insert magazines was noted as a flaw.

You can cite this source - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SYv26KuuwvQ&t=125s This shows a soldier reloading via the above described technique.

Thanks Bigtimb (talk) 19:13, 18 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

Partly done: Unfortunately, I could only add the statement "the magazine is inserted tilted backward and rolled forward." The source you provided was a video that shows the process of reloading. Per WP:PRIMARY, because this is a primary source, I can only include information that is straightforwardly demonstrated in the video. I cannot include your last sentence, as that is an inference (although a reasonable one) that is not explicitly shown or stated in the source. I also could not include information on the comparison to AK rifles, as the source does not mention them either. Liu1126 (talk) 14:24, 19 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
