Title of the article edit

The title of the article should be checked like it was done with Capture of Garadaghly. I suggest presenting and discussing alternative titles here:

"Malibeyli and Gushchular Massacre" → "Seizure of Malibeyli and Gushchular" – per WP:NPOV. As the current title is only used in Azerbaijani sources, it does not qualify per WP:POVTITLE. There are no non-partisan publications using the term "massacre" to describe this event in English. Reliable English source use the terms "seizure", "capture" or "attack" describing the event. Therefore WP:NDESC applies and a neutral descriptive title should be used.--Markus2685 (talk) 22:15, 13 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

I've changed the Overview subtitle also in line with this Maidyouneed (talk) 06:25, 1 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Relevancy of pogroms in "See also" section edit

I don't think that the listed pogroms (Sumgait pogrom, Kirovabad pogrom, Pogrom of Armenians in Baku) are related to the content of this article. Best, Konullu (talk) 00:08, 19 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

The massacres and pogroms Malibeyli and Gushchular Massacre, Capture of Garadaghly, Khojaly massacre, Sumgait pogrom, Kirovabad pogrom, Pogrom of Armenians in Baku are all results of or happened during the Nagorno-Karabakh War and therefore are directly linked to each other as one massacre/pogrom resulted in another one etc.--Markus2685 (talk) 02:14, 20 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Malibeyli and Gushchular massacreCapture of Malibeyli and Gushchular – Sources point to a capture of a town. Other discussions below question the same thing I am. Why is this being called a massacre? when a capture of a town by military forces always cause civilian deaths. Nocturnal781 (talk) 03:07, 4 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
