A duplicate article, with differences in some content, was created today as "Carden Hall, Carden, Cheshire". I've set it to redirect to this article, as a merge is clearly required. I've included the text of this newly-created article below so that it can be merged in with this article by someone who knows more about the subject than I do. The original Carden Hall was a substantial classic Cheshire white half-timbered house located at Lower Carden in the parish of Carden approximately fifteen miles south of the county town, Chester. The civil parish is administered by Coddington and District Parish Council.[1] It was the family seat of first the Carden and then the Leche families for many centuries before being destroyed by fire in 1912.
The new Carden Hall was built on the same site by Mr Stephen Morgan and completed in 2004. It is a substantial neo-georgian design and is reputed to have cost £8M. Mr Morgan is the owner of the whole estate which includes the Carden Park hotel, two golf courses and a small vineyard.
