Regarding revision 1007538786

edit

Hi there,

I would like to object to the classification of Mang Tomas as a liver spread.

I do not think that Mang Tomas and similar products (hereon forward as all-around sauce) count as Liver spread despite all-around sauces and liver spread products having a common ingredient of liver. Here are my arguments regarding this:

  1. All-around sauces are liquid in consistency; meanwhile liver spread products are thick pastes and are spreadable in consistency, and
  2. Most all-around sauces contain vinegar, an ingredient which is not present in the liver spreads that I am familiar of (Reno, CDO, and Purefoods brands)

All-around sauce is a condiment usually served for lechon and other dishes, mainly fried viands like fried chicken and breaded porkchops to name a few. It is also commonly known as lechon sauce so it is of a different classification or identity from liver spreads.

Feedback is highly appreciated. Will apply this correction on the article for now but feel free to revert the corrections if this is incorrect. Thanks!
