Reverts Regarding Tables

There are some users who do the following edits on the page:

1. Delete some links inside table. They refer to those links as overlinks. I do not see a reason why those links should be called overlink and deleted. And I cannot understand their criteria for link deletion.

2. Remove flags because of the "no flags in infoboxes" rule. Where is proof that table is a type of infobox? I think it isn't. There are a lot of pages where flags are used in tables. Mediawiki (and hence Wikipedia) may indeed be used as a social networking service in an atypical scenario: you can create your own profile (user page) where you could introduce yourself, you can share regular content on your user space (and of course in the main namespace as well), you can follow (watch) the user pages of others, hence creating social relationships, you can comment on the post of others, you can receive notifications of the messages of others, you can discover and follow new contacts and content easily. -bkil (talk) 11:31, 3 June 2021 (UTC)

As of 2019,

Quora has 300 million monthly users

and more than 190 daily active users

Google maps and Yandex Maps

Yandex I was wondering does it would be worthible to mention in the list Google maps and Yandex maps. Why Google maps can not be considered as virtual ommunity if you can rapidly have there plenty of followers? LinkedIn has total 900m subscribers, not monthly active

The article needs correction for linkedin monthly active users. It has total 900 million subscribers:

Removal of Stack Exchange Network

I've removed Stack Exchange. While it was a great platform, its data of 100 million monthly users was based on https://stackexchange.com/about:

• Between February 2016 and January 2019 it's showing 101 million unique visitors in 2015: https://web.archive.org/web/20190116032246/https://stackexchange.com/about
• They subsequently removed that piece of information and last updated other trends in April 2022: https://web.archive.org/web/20220413113831/https://stackexchange.com/about.
• Users with 25k points can access site analytics which show that Stack Overflow activity has drastically decreased (more than divided by two) since its peak, and is now in December 2023 almost at the level of 2008.

So Stack Exchange is not admissible anymore to this list. Although, one may consider eventually listing social platforms with formerly 100 million active users. Coeur (talk) 21:43, 5 December 2023 (UTC)
