Hanging tree (United States) → Hanging tree – I'm hard pressed in my quest to find any references that refer to a Gallows (the current target of redirect Hanging tree) as a "hanging tree". For this reason alone, I'm proposing this move with the addition of adding {{Distinguish}} tags on both Gallows and this article after the move. Steel1943 (talk) 19:31, 16 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
Rename to List of hanging trees and redirect Hanging tree here. The term is not specific to the United States. But the fact that a hanging tree can colloquially mean any gallows can be added to the first paragraph. -- Necrothesp (talk) 12:50, 22 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
