How about a list of films made with AI? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:6C46:4A00:6100:35CB:16DF:3613:1F44 (talk) 04:35, 12 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Should these be in the list? (Write your suggestions here.) edit

Sphere (1998 film)? George Rodney Maruri Game (talk) 21:41, 8 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Haven't watched the film. Where are AI/robots in it? Could you shed some light? The WP plot doesn't reveal anything artificially intelligent. Artem S. Tashkinov (talk) 19:09, 3 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hello, all. Would Await Further Instructions be considered AI since the antagonist is a TV? EDG 543 (talk)15:55, 14 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

The TV hardly played any role in the film. Artem S. Tashkinov (talk) 19:02, 3 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Saturn 3 (1980) film, should/must be included in the list, imo it is 1 of the best; Hector in Saturn 3 is Robot. And, btw shown list is missing too many related (significant) films! 172.89.76.61 (talk) 07:48, 2 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Added, thank you. You know you can actually edit WP yourself even without signing up! Artem S. Tashkinov (talk) 19:07, 3 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hello everyone, I believe the I.A in Captain Marvel could be added to the list! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.228.185.34 (talk) 13:10, 17 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

it would be useful to have a link at the bottom for an ai list for tv series — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.72.184.48 (talk) 13:04, 30 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

I'm not into TV series but probably they could be added into a separate table. Artem S. Tashkinov (talk) 17:11, 26 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

"Silent Running" should be in the list. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.95.254.98 (talk) 13:54, 5 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Added, thank you. Artem S. Tashkinov (talk) 17:11, 26 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

What about Oblivion (2013 film)??! The 2013 Tom Cruise movie where the AI (Tet) has taken over earth and scary evil gun-bot drones travel the earth shooting anybody who is left. DEFINITELY should be in the list.

'Alita Battle Angel' features many cyborgs, but no artificial intelligences are in evidence. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.56.221.82 (talk) 11:38, 27 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

This is moot. According to the film, Alita was ~300 years old when she was found. No bilogocial brain can survive that long. Artem S. Tashkinov (talk) 11:58, 27 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
This is, admittedly, a sci-fi movie. Who knows what advancements in brain health have been made? Nanotech is a thing at this point - it's what Alita's berserker body is made from. Legowerewolf (talk) 17:07, 28 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

The movie RoboCop should be removed. The citation used https://www.theguardian.com/culture/gallery/2015/jan/08/the-top-20-artificial-intelligence-films-in-pictures incorrectly lists the character as an AI. The article says "Police officer Peter Weller was murdered by a criminal gang but revived by malevolent mega-corporation Omni Consumer Products as a superhuman cyborg law enforcer." Mr. Satterly (talk) 09:43, 17 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

this list is ridiculously lacking and should have some kind of disclaimer on it. edit

Pretty much what I said. 24.198.81.163 (talk) 04:52, 27 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

What is it lacking? You're free to edit it and add missing info. How would you feel if I just deleted it altogether since it's so "bad"? Artem S. Tashkinov (talk) 09:27, 27 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

On the topic of being incomplete edit

This list doesn't intend to be a complete list of AI films because there is a ton of them and many have extremely low production values, so they are not worth including. You could browse most of them here.[1] Artem S. Tashkinov (talk) 13:43, 3 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Split into decades edit

Would be nice if someone split the table into decades just to make it easier to navigate. Thanks a lot. Artem S. Tashkinov (talk) 11:26, 9 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
