Missing episode?

There seems to be an episode missing from the list of the most recent series. It should be between what is currently listed as Episode 14 and Episode 15. This is not needed in the article. The article is for a synopsis of the episodes in each series. There are character articles that contain the informatio on a characters first / guest and/or last appearance 92.11.1.73 (talk) 16:31, 26 December 2009 (UTC)

Yes it would be an issue if you deleated it. The fact that the episodes are repeated is important to the article. Out of all 80 episodes as of Series 5 Episode 20, only 10 episodes will have been given a BBC Three repeat. Series 6

WaterlooRoadTV's twitter says that "I am hearing the plan at mo is to air series 6 episode 1 on 1st Sept and then episode 2 on 2nd Sept as always this is subject to change" -- until there is further confirmation other than just a twitter page, please don't add this information in the article--The Ultimate Koopa (talk) 02:31, 7 August 2010 (UTC)

Series 7.

While the BBC has confirmed that the series will return into Spring, until it is officially confirmed, please don't put "4th May 2011", as mentioned by Robson Green on his twitter. Yes, he may be a well known actor of Northern Lights, Casualty, Wire in the Blood, and may have had a few hits, even a couple of #1s, with Jerome Flynn, but it's not confirmed officially. So, now, despite it being said that twitter was not reliable, you're NOW using Twitter as a source? Note, while you directly used Digital Spy, they, in turn, used twitter (specifically Robson's tweets) as a source, thus, essentially, you used twitter as your source. But since Wikipedia is stupid, should I bother reverting the edits to say "Spring 2011", or just leave them as "4 May 2011"? Actually, regarding the Digital Spy article. I know for sure in no uncertain terms that the article was not written of the back of Robson Green's twitter. It was in fact written in response to Daniel Kilkelly of DS actually asking the BBC whether WR would be returning in Spring. Twitter is NOT the reliable source. Digital Spy is, despite it mentioning the twitter specualtion. Until the BBC confirm it in their press release listings, an exact date is not valid. Robson Green may be right and it may well being on 4 May, but at the end of the day it is the BBC, and the BBC only who will have the final say. Waterloo Road ED (talk) 14:27, 15 April 2011 (UTC)

I was referring to people putting "4 May 2011" which at the moment only has twitter as 'confirmation'. Also, UK TV Guide lists Waterloo Road as airing at 7:30 pm on 4th May. While the BBC hasn't actually confirmed this, publicly, from experience, they have often shown air dates for shows before being published on the press office sites, that are indeed correct. So, should we assume that this is correct? Thats funny, seeing as UKTV guide actually didn't have Waterloo Road listed until after the BBC press office released their listings. I checked. Its already been stated on another website i think (the waterloo road forums) that uktv guide gets so much of its info from the broadcasters. I'd leave it until the BBC actually edit their press listings. Series 7 does has NOT finished... has it?

Why are people saying Series 7 has finished when firstly: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b012fc7l "Episode 10 of 30" and secondly, the official Waterloo Road website says that Series 7a (not just 7) has finished? Also, wasn't it already confirmed ages ago that there would be 30 episodes in Series 7? So then, wouldn't this newly commissioned 20-part series, be a further 20 episodes on top of the still-to-air 20 episodes (making 40 yet to air)?--The Ultimate Koopa (talk) 18:12, 8 July 2011 (UTC)

No new episodes have been commissioned since the 20 circa February, but there is now some indication that this next set of episodes may be aired as series 8. The consesnus is currently to reference both indications as at Waterloo Road (TV series), but not to definitely say which will be correct as right now it is not completely clear. About Series 7 DVDs.

So, normally there's an Autumn and then a Spring Term, however, if Series 7 ran from May to July, shouldn't the first DVD be the "Spring Term" and the 2nd DVD, if, again, the next episodes are Series 7, be classed as "Autumn Term"?--The Ultimate Koopa (talk) 00:12, 20 July 2011 (UTC)

Seriously, should the May - July episodes of Series 7 be called "Autumn"? Shouldn't they be "Summer"? It'd then be Episodes 1 - 10 are Summer, Episodes 11 - 20 are Autumn, and Episodes 21 - 30 are Winter/Spring? Or if you're going by when it's set, rather than the actual time it's aired, if Episode 1 - 10 are Autumn, and Episodes 11 - 20 are Spring, would Episodes 21 - 30 be Summer?--The Ultimate Koopa (talk) 20:36, 28 August 2011 (UTC)

Apparently it has been confirmed as the 12th September. Series 8

Hello. Many users have provided a detailed account of the first episode of Series 8. I can certainly comprehend people's excitement. The additions to the articles have been deleted because some users felt that the new information violates copyright. Should people be adding information for an episode which has yet to air? If so, should someone elect to provide a summary as opposed to copying from another web site? Thank you in advance for your input. (Galaxycat (talk) 19:02, 7 August 2012 (UTC))

Episode titles

I propose that we remove the episode titles from series 8 and onwards. They are only used on the Waterloo Road site, and there is no evidence that the programme is distributed with them; the BBC do not use them, and nor do any online on paper TV listings that I have seen. They seem to be nothing more than a little fun from those who make the show, rather than actual titles. And they also appear to be devised after the episode is made, not at the scripting level - series 8 ep 29 even has two of them in different parts of the website! (Who is Adrian Pile, anyway?) Acorn Media UK, who distribute the DVDs have the episode names for Series 8 Autumn Term listed on their website in advertising the DVD. Don't know if they are actually used on the DVD itself though http://www.acornmediauk.com/waterloo-road-series-eight-autumn.html. I'm not fussed either way really, but in defending them they are devised by Shed themselves and that counts for a lot as it is their show (not the BBCs with regards to production and that includes episode branding) and they are credited on the official website. Also, it is only ep 29 that has two, and 1 out of 30 isn't really an issue. Its possible they could have changed it because 'Dirty Laundry' sounds a lot better than 'The Adrian Pile Show' with relation to the episode itself.
