B Class review
edit- B1 Sufficient for now, but lead will require more citations.
- B2 Lead is too short, omits crucial information. Refer to List of Naruto characters for an example.
- B3 Lead; do not use double headers for characters. Refer to the example list.
- B5 Move the images to the lead.

- Okay, I updated the lead. I know it needs some more citations, but I wanted to make certain the basic layout was fine given that i need to describe two different types of protagonists since they differ for both the anime and visuakl novel. The VN being the primary work is listed first. However, I'm not sure what to do about the the sisters. When I looked at Naruto, all of those characters were listed by teams. Okay, but then each of of them had their own character articles. Unfortunatly, I doubt any of these characters, which maybe the exception of Mai and Mii could warrant enough notability to have their own character articles, and even then it might not pass it, so I don't know what do do there. Finally I moved one of the images to the top: the one depiciting the 2 antagonists from the anime and the one who plays the role of both. The other one I kept below and plan to find or produce a better image depicting the enitre anime staff. For the vn, I am not sure what to do. Should I just repost the VN image from Popotan?じんない 22:29, 2 December 2008 (UTC)
- Personally, I do not think that the "Anime" and "Visual Novel" headers are required in the lead: "In the xxx" does a good job already.
- For another example, refer to List of Tokyo Mew Mew characters. It does not quite do away with the team layout but lists the protagonists at the top (one of which does not appear in the anime), then the antagonists, then supporting characters.
- To apply that layout to this article, I would recommend something like:
Current layout: Proposed layout 1 Main Characters 1.ProtagonistsMain Characters <Insert a "lead" here covering the protagonists/main characters group or common info> 1.1 Chris 1.1 Chris 1.2 Sisters 1.2 <Surname> sisters (if possible) <Insert a "lead" here covering the role of the group/common information> 1.2.1 Ai 1.2.1 Ai 1.2.2 Mai 1.2.2 Mai 1.2.3 Mii 1.2.3 Mii 1.3 Mea 1.4 Konami 1.3 Mea 1.5 Nono 1.4Konami1.6 Shizaku 1.5Nono2 Secondary Characters 1.6Shizaku>.AntagonistShizaku 2.1 Kokoa 2. Supporting characters <Insert a "lead" here explaining the roles of the remaining characters> Konami Nono 2.2 Unagi 2.1 Kokoa 2.3 Claude 2.2 Unagi 2.4 Daichi 2.3 Claude 2.5 Keith 2.4 Daichi 3 Other Notable Characters 2.5 Keith 2.6 Mai
- I do not really believe that a VN image would be required here.
- Hope that helps. G.A.Stalk 08:50, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
- Problem with that is that Konami and Nono are not protagonists, but still major characters in the manga and supporting characters in the anime that aren't protagonist. However even more of the problem is that Shizaku is a main non-protagonist in the VN and an antagonist of sorts in the anime.じんない 09:56, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
- Updated, see above. I am not quite so up to date with the characters:) You can also slot in a "Minor characters" section in under supporting characters (For those that are currently listed, but not so important.) Chance is one will have to experiment a bit to get to the best layout. It takes a bit of time. Trust me:). G.A.Stalk 12:20, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
- I'm not sure you're quite grasping the problem. In the VN and anime different characters take on different roles because of the storylines are completely unrelated; the relationships between characters are generally connected, ie Ai, Mai and Mii are all sisters, Konami is a school friend of Mai, Shizaku is seen as some kind of dandelion goddess, etc. However their roles are for the most part changed. Chris is the single protagonist in the VN; the 3 sisters and Mea are the protagonist in the VN, FE because they are told from different perspectives, Shizaku is (in the scenerios she is in) a major supporting character in the VN, but a mysterious being who the girls pursue egging them on in the anime, thus appearing more as an atagonist. To classify them as a protgaonist/antagonist would violate what they are in the other media, both of which have equal validity and notability. That's the problem I brought up in WP:VN I had mentioned to you on List of Popotan episodes.じんない 16:29, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
- I went ahead and added a bit on the relationship with the sisters (since that is unaffected) where you can see the problem with placing them as well.じんない 16:52, 3 December 2008 (UTC)

- In that case, main / supporting might be the only option... This is quite complicated though. I would recommend using different paragraphs (in the same order throughout the article) for the VN/anime for each character, as not to have the information confused. I have updated the list above. Good luck in figuring this out! G.A.Stalk 10:12, 4 December 2008 (UTC)
- I've moved them around, plus a few more that were bumped to other notable characters due to them being far less important, but still important enough to mention. Of course we could just remove that section, but at most only Mai could be merged with another character. On the division of character's roles. I set it up as:
- Paragraph 1: Visual presentation/personality
- Paragraph 2: VN (if applicable)
- Paragraph 3: anime (if applicable)
- Should i put subheaders like in the intro to distinguish the VN and anime better?じんない 15:50, 5 December 2008 (UTC)
- I actually strongly recommend not using the subheaders; Not even in the intro. I will reply to the rest later. Regards, G.A.Stalk 17:48, 5 December 2008 (UTC)
