Notability.
editNo references, no lead, no development section... and bordering on game guide content. I have a few issues with this article, and I'd strongly advise they be dealt with.
The smaller one is the names in general. I understand that everyone here prefers the Japanese names. That's not really an excuse, however, simply because this is the English Wikipedia. If there are official English names- and for the characters in the first game, and soon the second, there are- we're obligated to use them.
However, the largest one is the sheer amount of content. I can assure you that not all of these characters are notable enough for Wikipedia. This article is 70k bytes. 70k: does it have any reason to be that large, especially considering you've provided not a single reference proving that these characters are valuable to the series? Get references, and erase anyone that isn't absolutely important to a common person's understanding of the game. Peace. Emmy Altava 07:25, 8 January 2012 (UTC)
Stupid localization. Shaolin Kung-Fu
editAyumu "Shōrin" Shōrinji He practices Shaolin Kung-Fu and incorporates his martial arts and agility into his soccer moves.
It is Shorinji Kempo by original Japanese version.220.104.48.146 (talk) 13:21, 29 February 2012 (UTC)
Why are we using the Japanese names?
editThis is the English Wikipedia. Not the Japanese Wikipedia. Personally, some of you may prefer the Japanese names, (I myself prefer the English ones) but this is the English Wikipedia. If there is no official localisation yet (like Gyakuten Kenji 2) then we can use the Japanese names, but I don't see any reason to use them currently. Should we rename the page on Munich to München? Or that of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney to Gyakuten Saiban? The answer is obviously 'no'. This is Mkbw50 signing out! 10:38, 28 June 2015 (UTC)
