Disagreements edit

Roy Batty? Minor?172.201.26.87 14:29, 10 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

I echo that. Rachel? Minor?

Also, from Zhora: "Zhora has managed to get a job as an exotic dancer at Taffey's Bar (using Joanna's own pet snake)"

Who's Joanna?

And this: "the close-up of the snake scale is actually of a marijuana bud"

Huh? It's been a while since I saw the movie, but I'm pretty sure this is bogus. TomorrowTime 03:05, 17 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

I think it's cos none of them have enough information to get their own articles. Joanna is the actress that played Zhora. At the time, Joanna had a snake, so she used her own snake in the film. Not too sure about the marijuana bud, but if it can be cited...-Malkinann 20:37, 2 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

I tried to spot the glowing eyes of Holden, but either I am blind or other people see things not there. Is there a screengrab showing it or something? Or a more precise statement on when it is to be seen. Currently I suspect people mistaking normal reflections for the glow effect of replicants.

(pedro.war) I´ve just removed the phrase "Replicant (reffering to Deckard) saved from a Replicant by another Replicant", from Zhora´s character description. Whether he is or not a replicant is one of the most enduring debates regarding Blade Runner. Therefore, it´s incorret to make such affirmation.

Perhaps some of the more central characters should have their own pages?? Deckard has his own page. I don't see why characters like Roy and Pris are reduced to a mere paragraph and a half on a page including some very minor characters. Evilmoxie (talk) 09:17, 21 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Images? edit

This article could really use images for each or at least most of the characters. Nswinton\talk 14:26, 3 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Book Vs Movie edit

None of the replicants/andys are discussed in terms of the novelization ("Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?"). —Preceding unsigned comment added by Evilmoxie (talkcontribs) 08:59, 21 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Alternative Character Development edit

I added a bit about initial plans to represent Dr. Eldon Tyrell as a Replicant, but it was reverted because I cited an inappropriate reference. The reference is a YouTube video with interviews with people who actually worked on the movie. So the source is fine. If the contention is that it's an inappropriate thing to mention, I disagree because other character bios on here refer to alternatives. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Philosophistry (talkcontribs) 01:27, 27 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

A YouTube video, whomever is in it, or its subject, is not an appropriate reference. Please find another reference, from an appropriate and notable source, if you want to include that information. ---RepublicanJacobiteThe'FortyFive' 02:13, 27 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Original Text? edit

The text of the description of Gaff seems eerily similar to that found on BRmovie.com's website: http://www.brmovie.com/Profiles/BR_Char_Gaff.htm —Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.162.1.41 (talk) 19:13, 21 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Gaff edit

I find the section about Gaff highly suspect. The origami figure he makes is a crane, not a chicken, and although he clearly does not like Deckard, there is no indication whatsoever that he considers him a coward. There is a very simple explanation for his dislike: Gaff despises replicants, and he knows that Deckard is one, as evidenced by the origami unicorn he leaves outside Deckard's flat (indicating that he knows about Deckard's dream). Odoital25, I disagree that the statement about Gaff that I restored (and you removed) is WP:OR. It would be WP:OR if it offered an interpretation of the various figures, but it doesn't. It merely states the fact that Gaff creates origami figures and leaves them for Deckard to find. DES (talk) 12:00, 25 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Black Lotus edit

This needs expansion with the major new property, Blade Runner: Black Lotus, which explains some of Niander Wallace's traits -- 65.92.246.142 (talk) 08:17, 10 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
