"Horse people" (centaurs?) may do, but that is a tiny minority of readers, and they will know what the full name is. When the 98% of the world that are "non-horse people" search for it, it is likely to be for the novel by JK Rowling. The proper name of the horse condition is Lethal White Syndrome, and the name "Lethal White" isn't given in the opening of the article as an alternative name. The proper name for this novel is "Lethal White", and a Google search for "Lethal White" gives an avalanche of connections to the book, and a small drip of responses for the horse condition. - SchroCat (talk) 17:12, 7 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

Unlikely: It's a JK Rowling novel and there is an adaptation in the pipeline, as with the rest of the Strike series. That we have a redirect to something related, rather than using the proper name without the disambig seems illogical to me. The horse name is Lethal white syndrome, not Lethal White - see WP:SMALLDETAILS on how the naming of such articles should be decided. - SchroCat (talk) 19:58, 7 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
So you need to either have a re-direct from "Lethal White" to the book or to the syndrome. At the moment there is one from the syndrome to the book. Does it matter greatly to reverse the process and instead have the redirect from the book to the syndrome ? No, we need to have "Lethal White" hosting this article with a hatnote to the syndrome, and "Lethal white syndrome" leading to the syndrome page.
