I eliminated the
"Murder Victim's Parents ‘Ecstatic' Over 1st La. Execution in 2 years," by Gwen Filosa, ‘’The Times-Picayune’’ (May 11, 2002). This article has several problems. The subject raped and murdered Christina Burgin, was arrested, tried and convicted, then was executed. The article does not cite any references but uses State v. Martin, 645 So. 2d 190 - La: Supreme Court 1994 that apparently was copy-pasted at least in large part.
