Today Noswall59 renamed this article and talk page by appending "(local politician)" to Leonard J. Russell’s name. Disambiguation is important, but I believe that precedent-based and minimal changes are also better. Doing an advanced search, I could not find any other person in Wikipedia with this suffix, however there are many others who have "(politician)" appended. Only where there might be more than one such person does further disambiguation seem necessary, and that’s generally location-based. I therefore propose this page name be changed instead to, more simply, "Leonard J. Russell (politician)". — Andy Anderson 17:18, 17 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
That's fine, I'm not an expert in dab policies so go ahead. Cheers, --Noswall59 (talk) 07:50, 18 March 2021 (UTC).Reply
