Anjoman edit
This article is about guerilla groups that started operating in the 1970s, were fighting the Shah and were either marxist or leftist-Islamist.
Revenge group (Anjoman) - an underground nationalist guerrilla group mainly active around 1941 to 1947 - doesn't really belong here. --BoogaLouie (talk) 19:43, 9 May 2009 (UTC)

- We can change the name to add a time period if you like but anjoman has little or nothing in common with the rest of the groups, and there doesn't seem to be much information about it.

- You're right.
- The name is a problem. Guerrilla groups of Iran active in the 1970s is long and clumsy and not a 100% accurate as PMOI was still active in the 1980s. Rewriting the article to include a group whose whole article is barely two lines long is not good either. --BoogaLouie (talk) 14:55, 14 May 2009 (UTC)
Proposed name change edit
Proposed that the article name be changed from Guerrilla groups of Iran to Leftist guerrilla groups of Iran. (This article would not include mention of Revenge group (Anjoman)). --BoogaLouie (talk) 17:34, 19 May 2009 (UTC)
After the revolution edit
This article doesn't really feature any information about Iran's leftist militants after the Iranian Revolution (Are any of them still active? What's their current status? Are any of them still engaged in armed activities? Which ones are defunct? Have there been new groups established? Do they have foreign support?). Charles Essie (talk) 03:05, 11 February 2016 (UTC)
Change the title edit
I think the title should be changed, "leftist" is an entirely Americanesque term used to avoid the term socialism. We should just use the term 'left-wing'. JJThunder1 (talk) 20:32, 10 April 2019 (UTC)
