Talk:Lazhar Ben Mohamed Tlil

Latest comment: 6 years ago by InternetArchiveBot in topic External links modified

explanation edit

I removed a {{prod}} which I thought had been placed without sufficient attention to WP:BEFORE. The justification for the prod was: "Seems like a prisoner who may or may not be tenuously linked to a news story from 2009."

The prosecutor said that prosecution of the former Guantanamo captives would be "impossible", without Tlil's testimony. I question whether it is fair to characterize this as a "tenuous link". Three years later Tlil's criticisms of the Italian witness protection program made the news again. Geo Swan (talk) 19:50, 4 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
