Collaboration with Leona edit

Diddy said he's collaborate with Leona Lewis for his next album. I was wondering if this was true. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.166.58.136 (talk) 14:23, 13 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Sources edit

I haven't got the time to do any deep editing right now, so here's some sources I found supporting the existence of this article:

  • Kreps, Daniel (2009-02-19). "Diddy Starts Hyping "Last Train To Paris" Seven Months Before LP's Release". Rolling Stone.
  • Reid, Shaheem (2009-02-19). "Exclusive: Diddy Describes High-Concept New Album". MTV News.

Not done: there's no need in linking to a hosted video if it's used as a reference. In addition, Wikipedia is not a linkfarm. jonkerz 14:36, 13 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Dirty Money edit

This album is by Diddy & his group Dirty Money so it should say This is the upcoming album by Diddy - Dirty Money, not just Diddy. 67.252.88.35 (talk) 00:35, 3 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Official release date? edit

Is it September 20 or October 12? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 222.252.109.221 (talk) 16:11, 30 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Japan release date has a typo - it's released in 2011, not 2010. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.176.227.122 (talk) 18:14, 10 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Deluxe Edition tracklist edit

I've added the Deluxe Edition/Japanese Edition tracklist as a drop down [show] menu, as well as the iTunes Deluxe Edition. This clears the page up a lot. I've also added a note underneath the drop downs just to say about the extra tracks that are on the deluxe versions.Phewcharyztik (talk) 17:07, 10 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

That does the exact opposite of what the older formatting did. Now if you want to know whats on the deluxe version you have to click 'show' and then you're presented with long list to look through. Before there was nice short list which pointed out what the two bonus tracks were and that they appeared in a different order as well as that there are explicit and clean versions of the album. *sighs*. WP:BRD... you were bold... i reverted which means we should discuss. You should not have reverted again... -- Lil_℧niquℇ №1 | talk2me 17:18, 10 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

I added the whole track listing of the deluxe version as the 2 extra tracks aren't just added on to the end of the standard track listing but are integrated in between some of the original tracks so the full listing was needed. I didn't add a full track listing for the iTunes version as it just has one extra track at the end. It is listed as track 19 so it can easily be seen as a bonus track on top of the original 16 tracks and the 2 deluxe version tracks. I've added a note underneath the drop downs stating the bonus tracks so the user doesn't have to click on them if they don't want to. It also says (Bonus Track) at the side of each bonus track in the deluxe tracklistin. As for the explicit and censored versions, this is not needed as most rap/hip-hop albums are released with an explicit and a censored version. Unless the censored version has tracks missing then there is no need to add this information. Thanks. Phewcharyztik (talk) 17:34, 10 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

I disagree... to add the whole information again to list two extra tracks... the old notes sufficed. they clearly explained that deluxe editions of the album contain extra songs. It is messy and unrequired as well as increasing the time it takes for the page to load unnecessarily. I have spent a lot of time working on this article for GA purposes and I think an edit like yours will hinder it. Including two extra tracks on a deluxe edition (which are not confirmed singles) and re-ordering a track listing does not warrant the whole listing to be re-inserted. -- Lil_℧niquℇ №1 | talk2me 03:45, 11 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Reference to Bangladesh (producer) in Background edit

Should Bangladesh mentioning he'd be producing for the album still be on this page, given that no Bangladesh tracks ended up on the album?--mikomango (talk) 07:26, 15 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

That's normal practise to saying things like "Bangladesh was also reported to have worked on the album, but none of his tracks made the final track listing." -- Lil_℧niquℇ №1 | talk2me 16:44, 15 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Ass On The Floor sample edit

I added that Ass On The Floor takes a sample from "Pon De Floor" by Major Lazer but it was deleted. Is it just because it's uncredited? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.20.59.151 (talk) 22:36, 9 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
