Primary Sources

edit

I've added several new references to reliable third-party sources, so that now only 4 of 11 references are to sources from the college itself. I'm removing the {{primarysources}} tag now. -- DanielKlotz (talk · contribs) 21:33, 22 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

biased commentary

edit

LBC was granted an exception to Title IX in 2016 which allows it to legally discriminate against LGBT students for religious reasons.

This is biased commentary. If the article should include this at all, the perjorative language should be altered. 47.200.149.248 (talk) 00:57, 17 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Looks accurate and objective to me. What alternative do you propose? ElKevbo (talk) 01:57, 17 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Notable Alumni and Credible Information Removed

edit

Recently notable alumni have been removed as well as a lot of factual updates made regarding degrees offered, international students policy, accreditation, cited rankings, cited sports achievements, spiritual life, etc. This is the profile that once existed and got reverted>https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Lancaster_Bible_College&oldid=1184973647

I've also shared my employee disclosure. For a college wikipedia page to be stripped of their only alumni without justification or having a reason, is concerning. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67longfellow (talkcontribs)

Hello! Wikipedia requires that all information be cited by reliable sources to confirm notability. You added information that was not sourced and did not reply to concerns with this information. Please review WP:RS, WP:V, and WP:UNIGUIDE. These are policies you need to be familar with. If you provide information on this talk page with reliable sources, it will be considered for addition. Thank you! glman (talk) 14:39, 14 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
In addition, you claim that information was removed "without justification". The justification is clearly listed in the activity log, citing Wikipedia policy. glman (talk) 14:42, 14 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Connected contributors adding lots of poorly cited detail

edit

I see some discussion of this in the section above, but this edit warring over uncited assertions is not moving the pagespace forward. So long as these promotional edits continue to be added with no citations from reliable sources independent of the subject, they will be be reverted. Please stop adding this material unless cited to some source besides the subject. Note: if you're working on behalf of what the college wants said about itself, you're missing the point of Wikipedia. It's not merely a listing of current businesses. That is the yellow pages. BusterD (talk) 22:51, 14 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
