The people who identify themselves as Kumaoni are those who belong to the Kumaon division region of Uttarakhand, India. Cultural similarities may be there but the word Kumaoni is not used as an identity by others.Kalikumaun (talk) 13:34, 2 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Rulers edit

Please do not add information regarding the alleged present "ruler" of the Kumauni people. India is a republic and all previous princely states, titles etc were abolished some time ago. - Sitush (talk) 08:53, 6 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
